Switching between the two should be avoided because the motor is not responding well during the switch. From the datasheet I get the idea that it is designed for increasing speed gradually. According to the Klipper Documentation, it is advised to set stealthchop_threshold to 0 for more accuracy. I changed it but now sensorless homing doesn't work anymore.
