SpletTo me, the 11” is a tablet that can double as a laptop if you push it a bit, and the 12.9” is a laptop that can double as a tablet, if that makes sense. The 12.9 makes two or three-up multitasking more doable than on the 11, but the 11 is light enough to use one handed and not feel like a chore. SpletAt least with the 12.9, you get a full-sized keyboard. The portability, at least as just a tablet (without keyboard attachments), seems like a wash. They are both thin and relatively light. I can’t imagine a scenario where the 11” iPad would be great where the 12.9 would be prohibitively cumbersome. Plus the 12.9 has the better screen.
