Your main differences here are eq control and headroom on the clean channel.the RV50 can be used slightly dirty at not totally deafening volume. WebJul 26, 2013 · Both are great amps. I would tend toward the Orange, myself, but it's all a matter of taste. The 6505 is prolly gonna be a bit tighter and more focused than the TH100, with perhaps a slightly more cutting high-end. But damn... the low frequency "thunder" of a TH100 is sure something to behold.
