If you spend any amount of time playing this game, you will easily understand why there are 10 to 20 semi-truck loads of this game buried in a New Mexico landfill. I was 6 years old in 1982. WebThe Atari E.T. game was rushed for the Xmas season after the very successful movie. Because it was rushed, there was a pit in the game that E.T. would fall into but there was no way out. It wasn’t difficult to get out, but nearly impossible to get out. Fall into the pit and your $50 game was trash. That game nearly crashed the entire industry.
